In a perfect world, you would never have to leave your vacation resort. The Seaside is on the beach with its own private beach access for guests. At the Seaside Inn, guests can rent bikes and make a trip into town for scenic bike rides, dining and taking off on a coastal boat tour.
With its own heated pool, waterfront dining with live entertainment, recreational activities and boat tour services onsite, there’s very little need to go far from the Nonantum Resort. The Breakwater Inn is another beautiful historic inn on the banks of the Kennebunk River in Kennebunkport with lodging, a spa, and dining at Stripers, and you can walk to Colony Beach, boat tours that depart from the Nonantum, and Dock Square’s shops and dining. For those inclined to get a taste of the town, hop on the Seaside Trolley which stops just out front of the resort to transport you over to Dock Square or the beach. The Rhumb Line Resort, also on the Trolley Route, is a great vacation spot for families with both an indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub, acclaimed onsite dining at Admiral’s Table by the pool serving fresh cooked lobster outside i summer, plus there’s a sauna and fitness room. If you’re staying at the Nonantum or Rhumb Line Resorts, take a walk to Parsons Way with scenic views of the Kennebunk River and Ocean Ave.
