For New Years, the holiday decorations are up, and the beautiful seaside village in snow and lights and bright red bows bustles for the last night of the year – with cheer! New Years Eve is a fun festive time to be out and about in Kport and Lower Village Kennebunk.

Maine & Vine pours bubbly for a NYE Champagne and Sparkling Wine tasting. We love Maine & Vine, formerly Down East Wine, for their knowledgeable and passionate pours! Stop in for some popping good times and tastes, and stock up on your favorite toasting bottles for New Year’s.
Boathouse Waterfront Hotel and Bar hosts a Rock the Boat New Year’s Eve! Full raw bar, food stations, dancing, photo booth, & champagne toast at midnight, tickets $100, Dec 31 8pm- 1am.
Stripers Waterside Restaurant at The Breakwater Inn & Spa has a fantastic New Years Eve menu, serving from 6-10pm, $65 per person for a three-course menu, make reservations and taste their Exec Chef Nick Burgess’ creations while overlooking the glittery moonlight on the Kennebunk River.
Alisson’s has a NYE party traditionally, not fancy but fun! Alisson’s then wraps for a winter break – typically reopen in February.
Kennebunkport Inn’s Burleigh has NYE with live music New Years Eve led by the talented Beau Dalleo, and his NYE collaborative band Lion Heart. Party is 8PM, with music, cocktails, dancing, food and fun until the Ball drops in New York City, Champagne toast at midnight!
Ports of Italy has a 3 course New Year’s Eve dinner for $65, Cheers.
Pedro’s has a NYE party with a live band playing 9pm.
Old Vines is closed NYE and New year’s day, opening ThursdAY for more fun in 2020!
For a family friendly New Year’s Eve, downtown Kennebunk will host its annual Blueberry Drop (Maine’s version of a Times Square ball drop – Maine humor) at 9 p.m for the kids at Waterhouse Center with music by local guitarist Michael Corleto starting at 7pm, The Waterhouse ice rink will be open 6-10 pm for skating. The Brick Store Museum
will offer tours all night long and two showings of the classic movie “Goonies,” at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. The midnight Blueberry Drop is at the United Universalist Church, descending from the church’s bell tower. Cheers Kennebunk
In the New Year, Old Vines Wine Bar has their usual Happy Hour 4-6pm starting Jan 2 with great wine and cocktails specials and tapas style treats, plus a rocking late night DJ dance party every Monday after 9pm. Also, save the date for Avalanche at Old Vines Avalanche Party in February- sounds like a chillin’ thrillin’ good time!
For a refreshingly good time, how about a New Year’s dip in the Atlantic? This year’s 19th Annual Atlantic Plunge – Freezin’ For A Reason takes place on January 4, 11am Gooch’s Beach Kennebunk. This chilly Polar Plunge event is typically held New Year’s Day, Register for this refreshing swim, registration fee is $25.
